The Personnel Proponency Office (PPO) manages the eight personnel life-cycle management functions – Structure, Acquisition, Distribution, Development, Deployment, Sustainment, Compensations, and Transition – for Career Management Field (CMF) 56.
The PPO defines developmental needs, refines requirements in the field, and provides assistance to improve all aspects of the Army’s personnel management system.
